2023 Annual Meeting
Pre-Meeting Symposium

Now What? Emerging Challenges for Campus Leaders
Leaders in higher education face both internal and external challenges. Many are battling external narratives questioning the value of higher education, while also addressing political divisions that spill over into campus life from the broader society. How are campus leaders tackling issues of inequity, racism, free speech, mental health and well-being, and academic freedom, along with the many daily challenges of leading?
The symposium will bring together campus leaders to explore these challenges and share approaches for addressing them.
