Grow the Repository

Help build a shared collection of pro-democracy teaching and learning resources created by educators, for educators. If you have developed materials that help students understand democratic principles, institutions, norms and practices, or contemporary challenges facing democracy, we invite you to contribute them to the repository.

The repository features teaching and learning resources that educators can use directly with students, including activities, assignments, discussion guides, modules, and other adaptable materials. It is not intended for descriptions of courses, campus programs, centers, or institutional initiatives.

Submitted resources should support pro-democracy teaching and learning and align with the repository’s focus areas. For examples of priority topics, resource types, and submission guidelines, visit our FAQ page.

Three Steps to Contribute

1. Tell us about your resource. Complete the Contributor Description Form to provide basic information about your resource.
2. We review your submission. Our team will review your description to determine whether the resource aligns with the goals and guidelines of the repository. We’ll notify you by email with our decision and next steps.
3. Upload your resource. If your submission is accepted, we’ll send you a link to an agreement that confirms that this is your original work and you are willing to share it as an open educational resource. Once that is signed, you will have access to the contributor portal. There, you’ll upload your resource and provide details—such as title, description, resource type, estimated time needed, and topics covered—to help educators discover and use your work.
