2024-25 Institute on Virtual Exchange / Collaborative Online International Learning

Online

This year's Institute is conducted in partnership with the Fulbright US-UK Global Challenges Teaching Awards. This prestigious initiative, supported by the US-UK Fulbright Commission and AAC&U, facilitates collaboration between faculty members and supporting staff from higher education institutions in the United States and the United Kingdom. The program aims to address pressing global challenges through virtual exchange and collaborative online international learning (VE/COIL) partnerships.

With leadership from AAC&U, the 2024-25 Institute will run from August 12, 2024, to May 23, 2025, focusing on the development and implementation of VE/COIL courses as part of the Fulbright Global Challenges Teaching Awards. Institutional teams from both countries will engage in collaborative activities, professional development sessions, and virtual and physical exchanges to enhance their teaching practices and address key global issues.
