Patricia A. Marshall currently serves as the Interim Vice President for Workforce Development and Lifelong Learning at Mount Wachusett Community College in Gardner, Massachusetts.
Marshall has served in several faculty and administrative roles, including Provost and Executive Vice President at Fitchburg State University, Deputy Commissioner for Academic Affairs and Student Success at the Massachusetts Department of Higher Education, Associate Vice President for Academic Affairs and tenured Associate Professor of Spanish at Worcester State University. In her role as Deputy Commissioner, she was recognized for her statewide work to promote civic learning and engagement, enhance racial equity, narrow achievement gaps, and improve student success.
Marshall holds a bachelor’s degree from Colby College and a Ph.D. in Hispanic studies from Brown University.
