Senior Manager, Digital and Automation Upskilling; Tyson Foods

Anson Green is a workforce and education trailblazer leading economic opportunity efforts at Tyson Foods where he builds innovative learning solutions for one of the largest food companies in the world. There, he develops strategic initiatives related to digital and automation upskilling for Tyson’s 121,000 front-line team members, many of whom are immigrants and refugees. Before Tyson, Anson was Texas Adult Education State Director where he led the transformation of the $80M federal program to become a responsive solution for Texans seeking college and career entry solutions. Anson is recognized for his frontline worker upskilling approaches, non-profit engagement models, curriculum and assessment solutions that integrate English, training and digital skills, and policy. For this work Anson has been awarded a fellowship from the National Institute for Literacy (1999), National Outstanding Administrator of the Year (2000) as well as the President’s Award (2003) by the Coalition on Adult Basic Education.
