Abstract

The article discusses aspects that impact and contribute to the provision of evidence of academic program quality. It notes the role of accrediting bodies as an organizational entity that requires educational institutions to provide evidence of student learning outcomes. Also mentioned is the use of Valid Assessment of Learning in Undergraduate Education (VALUE) to determine the availability of an alternative to the existing standardized tests that could produce evidence of broader learning.
