Abstract
An essay is presented on the significance of assessment and outcomes measures in legal education in the U.S. It discusses the development of a system of the University of Pittsburgh School of Law for assessing the learning outcomes of its students. The essay aims to suggest some helpful pointers for other law schools pertaining to the assessment of learning outcomes of their students.
