Abstract

The article discusses the implementation of Association of American Colleges and Universities' (AAC&U) Valid Assessment of Learning in Undergraduate Education (VALUE) rubrics by the University of Delaware (UD). It states that when UD implemented the VALUE system for assessment, both the value of local adaptation and the limitations of adopting a national testing regimen have become apparent. It indicates that UD decided to work with the VALUE project and defined its core learning goals and assessment rubrics.
