Abstract

The article discusses the Developing a Community College Student Roadmap initiative of the Tidewater Community College (TCC) in Virginia to assess student learning. It outlines the assessment planning and implementation process across the seven general education competencies including communication, information literacy, and critical thinking. It cites that the TCC has adapted the valid assessment of learning in undergraduate education (VALUE) Rubrics in the implementation of the initiative.
