Abstract
The article discusses Valid Assessment of Learning in Undergraduate Education (VALUE) rubrics developed by Association of American Colleges and Universities (AAC&U), as standardized test alternative while helping colleges and universities to be more transparent on student learning outcomes. There are now 16 VALUE rubrics that deal with outcomes including critical thinking, quantitative literacy, and written communication, and multiple dimensions of evaluation are contained in each VALUE rubric.
