Vincent Spezzo
Assistant Director of Teaching and Learning Online, Center for Teaching and Learning, Georgia Tech
Vincent Spezzo is the Assistant Director of Teaching and Learning Online at the Georgia Institute of Technology’s Center for Teaching and Learning. With over 20 years of higher education and distance learning experience, Vincent has served in various roles, including that of faculty, instructional technology specialist, learning systems administrator, instructional design coordinator, and technology and pedagogy development. In his current role, Vincent supports Georgia Tech faculty and TAs who teach online through consultation, resource development, and ongoing professional development opportunities. Vincent has always been on the bleeding edge of technology adoption; developing mobile-friendly course designs before LMSs had mobile views, being part of the Google Glass explore program, and developing one of Georgia’s first online CBE programs. AI has been no exception as Vincent dove right in and launched CTL’s Generative AI workshop series early in Spring of 2023 and has offered over a dozen workshops covering various aspects of GenAI since it started.
