Megan L. “Meg” Mittelstadt is Director of the Center for Teaching and Learning and affiliate faculty member of the Louise McBee Institute of Higher Education at the University of Georgia. As Director of the Center for Teaching and Learning, she coordinates a wide variety of programs and activities aimed at fostering excellence in teaching and learning in support of the instructional mission of the University of Georgia. She also works closely with faculty, administrators, and staff across the University System of Georgia to promote effective and ethical integration of generative AI and digital literacies related to artificial intelligence across the higher education curriculum. Prior to joining the Center for Teaching and Learning, Dr. Mittelstadt was a Lecturer of Genetics at Harvard Medical School and the Director of Training and Education for the Landry Cancer Biology Consortium at Harvard University. She taught graduate courses in cancer biology, science pedagogy, and basic science medical education.
