Charles B. Hodges

Professor of Instructional Technology, College of Education at Georgia Southern University

Charles B. Hodges is a Professor of Instructional Technology in the College of Education at Georgia Southern University. He is a frequent presenter on topics related to teaching and learning in higher education, educational technology, and emerging technologies in education. He recently stepped down from his role of nearly ten years as Editor-in-Chief of the peer-reviewed journal, TechTrends. Recently, his scholarly work has been published in EDUCAUSE Review, Educational Technology Research and Development, and the SAGE Handbook of Online Higher Education. Charles earned a B.S. in Mathematics with a minor in Computer Science from Fairmont State University, a M.S. in Mathematics from West Virginia University, and a Ph.D. from the Virginia Tech School of Education.
