AAC&U’s Valid Assessment of Learning in Undergraduate Education (VALUE) initiative helps educators and institutions assess the knowledge and skills students need for success in college, work, and civic life. At the heart of the initiative are 16 VALUE rubrics—free, research-based tools that educators can use to evaluate authentic student work across a broad range of learning outcomes.
Whether you’re new to VALUE or looking for a refresher, this webinar provides an overview of the full suite of VALUE resources. Presenters will introduce the rubrics, assignment design tools, and other resources that support meaningful assessment. You’ll also see examples of how institutions have used VALUE to strengthen assessment, teaching, and learning, and learn about the principles that guide the VALUE approach.
