This introductory webinar offers a practical starting point for adapting AAC&U’s Valid Assessment of Learning in Undergraduate Education (VALUE) rubrics to meet your teaching, learning, and assessment goals. During this session, you’ll explore how the rubrics can be customized for specific contexts—such as for grading, course-based assessment, and programmatic assessment—while preserving their core assessment potential. Designed for educators, assessment professionals, and administrators interested in or already using VALUE rubrics tailored to specific contexts, the session highlights appropriate ways to “hack” the rubrics to support pedagogical innovation, curricular alignment, and faculty autonomy.
