Academic Innovator and Strategist
Myk Garn is an academic innovator and strategist working in the opportunity space where teaching, learning, and technology intersect. He is a committed academic change agent, focusing on developing and deploying new instructional and educational models. His experience centers around developing, deploying, and leading university- and state-level instructional, operational, organizational, policy, and strategic models. Most recently, he served as interim Associate Dean for Learning Systems at Georgia Tech. He previously had roles as the Founding Principal Investigator for the NSF AI Institute for Adult Learning and Online Education at Georgia Tech, as Assistant Vice Chancellor for New Learning Models for the University System of Georgia, Vice President of Academic Strategies at StraighterLine.com, Director of the Educational Technology Cooperative at the Southern Regional Education Board, Associate Vice President for eLearning for the Kentucky Council on Postsecondary Education, and Executive Director of the Kentucky Virtual Campus.
