Narrative Change
As a foundational area of the TRHT framework, Narrative Change calls for an examination of how more complete and accurate narratives can be created and shared, as well as more opportunities and platforms for truth-telling to inform people’s perspectives and perceptions about and their interactions with one another.[1] The Narrative Change process invites people to interrogate and deconstruct existing narratives that are rooted in the false belief in a hierarchy of human value and an exploration of the origins of and the ways in which these narratives are reinforced. This process also guides people through the learning and unlearning of histories and stories in order to see and value the full humanity of people.
