The Claggett Center is a retreat, camp, and conference facility owned by the Episcopal Diocese of Maryland. The center encompasses a 266-acre Frederick County working farm situated on a bluff overlooking Sugarloaf Mountain and the scenic Monocacy River Valley. This peaceful locale is also less than an hour from Washington, DC, and convenient to Dulles (IAD), National (DCA), and Baltimore (BWI) airports.
Participants are housed in single- or double-occupancy rooms in the newly built Christiane Inn on the Claggett campus. Room features include queen-sized bed(s), private bath, linens, side tables, a desk with chair, an upholstered reading chair, bedside table lamps, a floor lamp, heating/AC control panel, towels, shampoo, and soap. All meals are served buffet style in the new Sugarloaf Dining Hall.
