Civic Engagement at the Center: Building Democracy through Integrated Cocurricular and Curricular Experiences

Informed by the work of the Bonner Foundation, this publication presents a developmental cocurricular model for civic learning and socially responsible leadership that has been implemented on seventy-seven college campuses. It describes key elements of the model, research on its impact on students, and emerging civic engagement minors that complement decades of work in student affairs.
