Presentation formats

Concurrent Sessions
Concurrent sessions can be oral presentations (single or multiple presenters), panel presentations, or interactive workshops. Concurrent sessions are a total of 60 minutes in length. Those who are presenting oral presentations may choose a 30 minute presentation (including 5-10 minutes of Q&A) or a 60 minute presentation (including 10-15 minutes of Q&A). Panel presentations and interactive workshops are 60 minutes in length, including at least 10-15 minutes of Q&A. All presentations should relate directly to the theme and should include relevant background research, outline of program or project including important milestones, assessment information, and lessons learned. Standard audiovisual equipment is available in all meeting rooms.

All proposals should include the following information:

  • Full names of all presenters
  • Institution of each presenter
  • Preferred type of presentation – poster/oral presentation/panel presentation/interactive workshop
  • Preferred length of presentation (if oral presentation) – 30 or 60 minutes
  • Title of presentation
  • Abstract (150 words or less) – for publication on website
  • Description (a more detailed description of the program or project being presented, including an indication of how it connects to the meeting theme, how it was developed and/or implemented, assessment results, etc)
  • Intended audience

All proposals should be submitted online by Friday, February 9, 2018
