Reforming General Education As If It Matters—Because It Does
The oft criticized slow pace of change in higher education may have a surprising example of beneficial resilience in support of liberal education. The noticeable example of all things is general education, which will be explored in this issue. In a world of rapid disruption, narcissism, and obsession with the new, general education has emerged as a place of collaboration, thoughtfulness, creativity, innovation and inquiry.
