Institute Schedule
As this is a year-long, online experience, beginning in January 2023, there are multiple opportunities for engagement, planning, and implementation. The Institute will utilize an online platform that will enable asynchronous discussions between Institute participants throughout the year. The platform will also provide access to event recordings, a collaboration space for campus teams, and a range of resources to support the work of the Institute.
Live, synchronous, online experiences include the following:
January 2023 - AAC&U Forum on Open Learning and ePortfolios (online):
- Friday, January 13 (11:00-5:00 p.m. ET) - Institute Kick-off
- Monday, January 23 (10:00-6:00 p.m. ET) - AAC&U's Forum on Open Learning and ePortfolios
February through Early April 2023:
- Two online meetings with teams and mentors
- Two webinars on topics designed to meet the needs of this cohort of campuses
July 2023: AAEEBL Annual Meeting
- Institute events will book-end the AAEEBL Annual Meeting - dates TBD
- Throughout the AAEEBL Annual Meeting, scheduled sessions and individualized consultations will occur
Fall 2023:
- Optional opportunities to present progress and successes at NASPA Meetings
October and Early November 2023:
- Two online meetings with teams and mentors
- Two webinars on topics designed to meet the needs of this cohort of campuses
January 2024, AAC&U's Forum on Open Learning and ePortfolios (online)
- Monday, January 22 - Forum presentations by Institute teams
- Monday, January 29 - Institute closing and strategic planning for the future
Schedule and Events Notes:
- Conference registration fees are not included in the cost of the Institute. This will provide maximum flexibility as your year progresses and as your team and goals evolve.
- Dates in January 2024 may change based upon actual dates for the 2024 Forum on Open Learning and ePortfolios.
