Applications will be reviewed and considered on a first-come, first-served basis until the Institute reaches capacity. For a preview of the application questions, click here.

The registration fee for the Institute will cover tuition, materials, and consultation.

  • $5,000 per five-member team from AAC&U member institutions
  • $6,200 per five-member team from nonmember institutions

Teams may add additional team members for a separate registration fee, as space allows.

  • $1000 per additional team members for member institutions
  • $1240 per additional team members for nonmember institutions

The minimum team size is five people, including at least one senior academic officer whose role is relevant to the project. Key administrative leaders are essential for accomplishing broad-based educational reform on campus. Networks of engaged chairs and faculty/staff can help sustain this reform. Teams are also encouraged to include individuals from faculty development, student affairs, or assessment offices.
