Institute Schedule

As this is a semester-long experience beginning in August 2022, there are
multiple opportunities for engagement, planning, and implementation. Key
events include:

August 11 & 12: Kick-Off

• Focus: Welcome and institute orientation, team advising, design sessions, team time and mentoring sessions
• 11 a.m. - 6 p.m. ET both days
  

September 16: Design Opportunity and Team Check-In

• 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. ET

October 14: Mid-term Design Symposium

• Focus: Design challenges, design sessions, cross-team conversations, team time and mentoring sessions
• 11 a.m. - 5 p.m. ET
  

November 18: Design Opportunity and Team Check-In

• 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. ET

December 16: Capstone Event

• Focus: Final design sessions, mentoring, Action Plan Presentations
• 1 day, 11 a.m. - 6 p.m. ET

Location

All events for the Institute will be held online. No travel is required for the Institute, and scheduling of meeting times will take into account time zones to ensure events typically occur during regular business hours for all. While this event will be held virtually, we are hopeful, as conferences and other events begin to occur face-to-face, that there might be opportunities for some participants to gather in person.
