Dates & Times: The Institute on High-Impact Practices and Student Success program begins at 4:00 pm on Tuesday, June18th. The final event is a closing reception from 4:30-5:30 pm on Friday, June 21st. We ask all team members to be present through the end of the day on Friday.
Location: The Institute will be held on the campus of Villanova University. Plenary sessions, meals, and the HIPs and Student Success Institute office will be located in the Connelly Center and other sessions will be in nearby classroom buildings. A campus map is available here and an updated version highlighting the buildings used for the HIPs Institute will be created and shared before the event.
Accommodations: The Institute fee provides lodging in on-campus apartments for participants Tuesday afternoon – Saturday morning. Check in is scheduled for 10:00-3:00 pm on Tuesday and Check out is by 11:00 am on Saturday. If you would like to arrive a day early and check-in on Monday, please select that option on the registration form. There is a $50 fee. If you do not require lodging, please contact Siah Annand (email@example.com) and select “not applicable” for the lodging questions on the registration form.
Each Institute participant will have a private bedroom in a two- or four-bedroom apartment in Gallen, Jackson, Farley, or St. Clare Hall. Apartment assignments will be shared in early June. Detailed information on the apartments can be found online here .
Pillow, sheets, blanket, bedspread, towels, wash cloths and bath mats will be provided. Beds are twin size (standard or XL).
Apartments include a kitchen (stove) or kitchenette (no stove) with a microwave and full-size refrigerator, but do not include any kitchenware.
Access to most campus facilities, including fitness centers, is available. A detailed guide to the facilities will be shared before arrival.
Accessibility and Mobility: The apartments are a .5 mile walk from the Connelly Center, where Institute activities are centered. Please contact Siah Annand (firstname.lastname@example.org) if you need accessible accommodations or transportation between the apartments and activities.
Meals: Provided meals include receptions on Tuesday and Friday evening with hors d’oeuvres, as well as breakfast and lunch Wednesday through Friday. Dinners are on your own. The registration form asks for dietary restrictions and allergies.
No Family Members or Guests: The Institute schedule is intensive and does not provide for free time during the day. There are no accommodations on campus for family members or guests.

Parking: Parking is available for those driving to the Institute and staying at the campus apartments. Commuters should arrange for a parking permit through Siah Annand (email@example.com).
