VALUE: Achieving Transformational Change in the Assessment (and Improvement) of Student Learning Outcomes

Can we (re)place student curricular and co-curricular work and faculty judgment at the center of higher education assessment discussions? Can faculty-led assessment become a high-impact practice for students, faculty, and institutions around the improvement of student learning outcomes? The VALUE initiative is partnering with a multi-state collaborative of public and private, two-year and four-year colleges and universities that are committed to placing student work and faculty judgment at the center of assessment and learning for all students. This session will look at how several campuses and consortia of campuses are affirmatively answering these questions for their students, faculty, and institutions.
