Global Flourishing and College Learning

Welcome and Overview

Opening Plenary
Wednesday January 21, 2015 8:30am to 8:40am

The future is global, and education must prepare students to address global challenges—economic, civic, intercultural, and personal.  On January 20, AAC&U will release two new Hart Research Associates’ surveys—one of employers and another of students—exploring whether college students are being globally prepared and whether they have sufficient problem-solving capacities to succeed in today’s economy.  Key findings from these surveys will serve as backdrop to the symposium dialogue.
