Project Vote Smart is a citizen’s organization that has developed a Voter's Self-Defense System to provide voters with the necessary tools to self-govern effectively. As a national library of factual information, Project Vote Smart covers the candidates and elected officials in five basic categories: biographical information, issue positions, voting records, campaign finances and interest group ratings.

New Jersey Voter Information
New Jersey Voter Information is a non-profit, non-partisan website is intended to help New Jersey citizens learn about public affairs issues affecting New Jersey. It pursues the mission of the Institute to encourage participation and understanding of the political and electoral process. The website has a separate section for the 2006 elections as well as a section catered to the needs and questions of voters.
The Committee of Seventy
A valuable resource for getting information about the candidates running in the upcoming 2006 Congressional elections. The website also provides links to voter registration and useful advice on empowering citizens in making informed voting decisions.
