Journey Towards Democracy: Involving Students in the Political Process
This interactive Webcast will focus on patterns of student political participation, student-driven political organizing, and new technologies that engage students with political issues and encourage electoral participation. It will feature experts on public opinion, political organizing, and government.

Campus Compact
Campus Compact is a national coalition of more than 900 college and university presidents committed to the civic purposes of higher education. As part of their New Voters Project, Campus Compact will convene college and university presidents in six states to share models and foster collaborations between campus and community and in an effort to encourage voter mobilization, they will be working with college and university presidents across the states to support student voter registration drives. Their website includes election resources, campus models, and voting information.

Harvard University Institute of Politics (IOP)
The National Campaign for Political and Civic Engagement is IOP's national effort to encourage participation and engagement in politics by college students. In addition to their national survey of college students, the IOP website provides a guide to absentee voting and a guide to registering voters on college campuses.

AASCU's American Democracy Project
This multi-campus initiative seeks to create an intellectual and experiential understanding of civic engagement for undergraduates.

Project Pericles
Project Pericles is a not-for-profit organization that encourages and facilitates commitments by colleges and universities to include education for social responsibility and participatory citizenship as an essential part of their educational programs, in the classroom, on the campus, and in the community.
