Plan of Action to Reduce Violence against Women |

In June 2011, the National Council for Research on Women and the US National Committee for UN Women cohosted a conference at Hunter College in New York City on violence against women and girls. Drawing from discussions at that event, conveners drafted an Anti-Violence Against Women Plan of Action, which includes an addendum detailing resources in various sectors and topical areas. Women's Learning Partnership |

Formed in response to needs identified at the 1995 Beijing Fourth World Conference for Women, the Women’s Learning Partnership for Rights, Development, and Peace works to advance women’s rights and civic participation in the global south, particularly in Muslim-majority countries. Through trainings and other programming offered by twenty partner organizations, the Women’s Learning Partnership helps women develop their leadership capacities as a way of improving their overall place in society. Women for Women International |

Founded in 1993 in response to conflict in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Women for Women International matches women survivors of war with the funds and social support to build their lives anew. Participants enroll in a year-long program providing training, money, and an international sponsor—connecting women to the skills, funding, and emotional support they need to succeed.
