About the Guest Editor

Emily Musil is serving as Guest Editor for On Campus with Women Volume 35.3. She is finishing her Ph.D. for the Department of History at UCLA with her dissertation, "La Marianne Noire: How Gender and Race in the 20th century Atlantic World Reshaped the Debate about Human Rights." She recently returned from a year of research on a Fulbright-Hays Dissertation Research Fellowship in Senegal, France, and Martinique. Emily Musil has taught at UCLA and American University, and will begin teaching at Trinity College this fall with a joint appointment in History and International Studies.
