CWIL at Saint Mary's College in Notre Dame, Indiana, promotes the study and practice of intercultural leadership through fellowships, faculty, staff and student grants, and summer programs. Grounded in the study of interconnections between gender and culture, CWIL "critically examines the boundaries that define identities, limit participation, and shape encounters" across borders. Institute for Women's Leadership
Rutgers Institute for Wmen's Leadership

Comprised of Douglass, the women's college, the Department of Women's and Gender Studies, the Center for American Women and Politics, the Institute for Research on Women, the Center for Women's Global Leadership, and the Center for Women and Work at Rutgers University, IWL "is dedicated to examining issues of leadership and advancing women's leadership and involvement in decision making in all arenas." IWL promotes research, program development, and public service initiatives and offers workshop, seminar, and visiting scholar opportunities.

National African-American Women's Leadership Institute
Bennett College NAAWLI

Housed at Bennett College in Greensboro, NC, NAAWLI promotes a leadership model that "stimulates the mind, challenges the body, and renews the spirit." The Web site offers information about the NAAWLI fellowship program, which brings together women from education, business, government, non-profit, and community sectors for a six-month leadership development program.
