This working conference brought together faculty and administrators interested in incorporating technology effectively into campus learning environments both inside and outside the classroom. Topics explored include:
- Using computers and other forms of technology to create environments of engagement and inclusion, and to stimulate higher levels of achievement for all students
- Helping students tap the power of technology as a means to address critical social challenges
- Teaching students to successfully navigate the World Wide Web, to separate fact from fiction, and to incorporate new insights gained from its use into their learning
- Understanding how students perceive the fundamental changes in learning and teaching that make use of these tools
