- The Greater Expectations report (For a “quick read” of the report, see the executive overview, Chapters 3 and 4 (including sidebars), and Chapter 5 – the charts and recommendations).
- Integrative Learning: Mapping the Terrain (pdf), a paper on creating opportunities for students to connect their learning into a more coherent whole.
- Our Students’ Best Work (pdf) – An AAC&U position paper on assessments appropriate for learning and accountability purposes.
- New Leadership for Student Learning and Accountability (pdf) – This “statement of principles” lays out the recently released AAC&U and CHEA positions on accountability and assessment. The document suggests a proactive stance for higher education in taking responsibility for setting ambitious learning goals, fostering consistent high levels of learning, collecting evidence to monitor achievement of goals, and communicating clearly about the whole process to all stakeholders.
