An Activity of the Greater Expectations Initiative to Improve
Student Learning
June 23 - 27, 2004 | Snowbird, Utah
The fourth annual Greater Expectations Institute was attended
by 190 participants. Members of the twenty-nine participating
teams developed campus-specific plans to align institutional
purposes, policies, structures and practices to encourage
the engagement, inclusion, and high achievement of all students.
Specific topics examined included understanding and tapping
into the educational benefits of diversity, building collaborative
leadership, and sustaining educational change initiatives.
AAC&U would like to thank the Institute participants for
their contributions to the sessions and informal conversation
throughout the event and wish them all the best as they return
to campus to implement their initiatives.
