The Institute will include a wealth of experience from the institutions selected to attend. For that reason, the facilitation of many concurrent sessions will be drawn from the Institute participants themselves.
In addition, the Institute will engage national experts on selected topics and directors of Greater Expectations projects to create an atmosphere optimal for participants to learn about how to create campus environments that foster student engagement, inclusion, and achievement.

Each campus team is assigned an Institute Faculty Liaison who has expertise in the innovation on which your team will work while in Denver. The Faculty Liaison will be available to the team at scheduled as well as informal times throughout the 5-day Institute. These specialized consultations provide opportunities for the team to critically examine their campus goals, resources, and capacity to deepen and sustain their efforts.
Both the Faculty Liaisons and the invited speakers will aid teams in identifying their specific internal and external pressures that enhance and impede educational improvement efforts. The Institute is structured to help teams learn how to leverage these forces for constructive institutional change and learn from each other about institutional structures and collaborations that support developing intentional learners.
Faculty will help teams develop a clear articulation of their goals, appropriate strategies to achieve them, and trusting relationships that will enable them to sustain educational change initiatives.
