Facing the Divides:
Diversity, Learning, and Pathways to Inclusive Excellence

Consultations

On Friday, October 22, a limited number of consultations will be available with three nationally recognized leaders in making excellence inclusive. Sign-up sheets will be available at the conference registration desk on Thursday, October 21 after 12 p.m.

Alma R. Clayton-Pedersen, Executive Vice President—Emeritus Consulting Group, LLC., Senior Scholar—AAC&U
Areas of expertise include policy development and program evaluation; organizational learning; intra- and inter-organizational collaboration; diversity as an educational resource; and student readiness, recruitment, retention, and success.

Gail G. Evans, Dean of Undergraduate Studies, San Francisco State University
Areas of expertise include General Education revisioning and assessment; implementing and sustaining campus projects; curricular redesign, including diffusing diversity across the curriculum; integrative learning; assessment, including the use of e-portfolios; and first-year experience programs.

Jesús Treviño, Clinical Associate Professor, Higher Education Program, Morgridge College of Education University of Denver
Areas of expertise include inclusive excellence, campus climate issues, campus intergroup relations, diversity training, intergroup dialogues and the collegiate experiences of students of color.
