Academic Partners
Academic Partners are colleges, universities, associations, or non-profit organizations with missions and programs related to the conference theme. They contribute to the success of the conference in a variety of ways -- developing the program, reviewing proposals, sharing information about the conference with their constituencies, sponsoring a session during the conference, and sharing materials about their organization at the conference.

ACAD members are characterized by their shared commitment to student learning and to the ideals of liberal education.
Associated New American Colleges

Founded in 1995, the Associated New American Colleges is a national consortium of twenty-two selective, small to mid-size (2,000-7,500 students) independent colleges and universities dedicated to the purposeful integration of liberal education, professional studies, and civic engagement. To improve the quality and effectiveness of teaching and learning among its members, ANAC sponsors projects and conferences, administrator and faculty affinity groups, surveys and data benchmarking, and international study programs. The Associated New American Colleges collectively and individually are often cited as models of the intentional integration of teaching and learning, scholarship, and service.

The Washington Internship Institute (WII) provides experiential education programs and academic-based internships in Washington, DC for undergraduates, graduate students, and scholars from the United States and abroad. Weekly academic seminars complement internship experiences and encourage students to reflect, set goals, and explore discipline-based topics.
