Engaged STEM Learning: From Promising to Pervasive Practices

Network for Academic Renewal Conference
March 24-26, 2011
Miami, Florida

PKAL Dinner

Dear Colleagues,

Project Kaleidoscope invites all conference participants to join PKAL and AAC&U colleagues for dinner on Friday, March 25, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. in the Fish Market room at the conference hotel.

The $55.00 dinner is a Cuban style buffet inclusive of tax and gratuity; cash bar will also be available. Registration and dinner payment are due by Friday, March 18 and space is limited.

Engaged STEM Learning: From Promising to Pervasive Practices is the first conference co-sponsored by PKAL and AAC&U to focus on STEM since PKAL joined AAC&U in 2010, and it is the first opportunity for the PKAL community to come together since the new partnership.

Participants at the dinner will learn more about "PKAL 2.0" and be invited to provide feedback on its future directions.  One of the hallmark's of PKAL's past success is the dedication of its community, and your input on our future is critical. The dinner will also provide an opportunity for those new to PKAL to learn more about its mission, goals, programs and activities.

If you should have any questions about the dinner, please contact Christina Shute at

We hope you will join us for the dinner on Friday, March 25th and look forward to visiting with you in Miami.

Best Regards,

Susan Elrod
Executive Director
Project Kaleidoscope
