About the Program
College Learning for Our Shared Future is a one-day public forum sponsored by AAC&U’s national initiative, Liberal Education and America’s Promise. This interactive program will bring together key Georgia stakeholders to discuss the learning Georgia students will need to meet 21st-century challenges—economic, civic, global, personal. The conversation will feature perspectives from campuses and the community, highlighting how individuals, communities, and our society benefit from our investment in higher education. The program also will shine a spotlight on ways that Georgia institutions are responding to new priorities and improving student achievement of key learning outcomes essential for 21st-century success.
Participants
Business, civic, school, and community leaders from across Georgia, as well as policymakers, are encouraged to participate in this dialogue. Faculty, deans, presidents, and chief academic officers from all of AAC&U’s member institutions in Georgia, as well as campus representatives from other institutions in Georgia will also participate. For more information, please contact Bethany Zecher Sutton (sutton@aacu.org).
