LEAP Campus Action Network (CAN)

CAN Membership Form

“By completing this form, our institution will become a member of the LEAP Campus Action Network (CAN), part of the larger AAC&U LEAP initiative designed to champion the value of a liberal education for all students regardless of background, enrollment path, academic specialization, or intended career.  In joining CAN, we pledge that our institution will:

  • work proactively to advance liberal education for all students, including those historically underserved by the academy;
  • publicize practices—curricular, co-curricular, pedagogical, and assessment-related—that help students achieve liberal education outcomes; and
  • communicate with our constituents—trustees, business, policy and community leaders, K-12 educators, parents, and students themselves—about the value and essential outcomes of a contemporary liberal education.

Below, we designate a CAN Liaison who is well-positioned to coordinate and lead educational improvement efforts at our institution and whose sphere of influence reaches upper administrators as well as faculty and staff responsible for day-to-day teaching and learning. We understand that this person will be the primary contact person at our institution for any special communications about CAN and with whom AAC&U will coordinate on particular LEAP activities.”

Note: To join CAN, an institution must be an AAC&U member. To check your membership status, visit the AAC&U membership page.
