BTtoP Reception at AAC&U's 2010 Annual Meeting
The reception was an opportunity to catch up with old friends and to welcome new colleagues! In addition, Barry Checkoway, Director of the Demonstration Site Program and longtime member of the Project, was recognized for receiving the Ehrlich Award.
4th National Biennial Student Conference
Students met other students and faculty members from around the nation and developed deeper understandings of Reflection, Resiliency, Relationships and Responsibility as they relate to education. It was held November 13th and 14th in Washington, DC.
BTtoP Leadership Coalition Faculty Conference
On January 20th, 2010, teams from the 53 Leadership Coalition institutions met to 1) address and propose solutions to those issues most relevant to Coalition Institution's faculty and 2) determine in what ways the Leadership Coalition can be a resource to faculty members currently working on identified concerns.
Leadership Coalition Follow-up Conference (Additional 14)
From November 6-7, 2009, the 14 institutions most recently inducted to the Leadership Coalition sent representatives from their faculty and administration to discuss the priorities of the Coalition and the implementation of related projects on their own campuses. Conference members recognized the achievements of their fellow educators while lending insight into the ongoing challenges of affecting meaningful and lasting change in higher education.
"Civic Engagement, Public Work & Psychosocial Well-being" Symposium
Teams and representatives from over 40 colleges and universities from across the United States attended the Civic Symposium on November 5-6, 2009. Attendees discussed the relationship between student engagement and psychosocial well-being as well as the continuing challenges associated with assessing and transforming campus culture and priorities within existing infrastructure.
Leadership Coalition Follow-up Conference
From April 19-20, 2009, campus personnel from 43 colleges and universities met in Washington, DC to continue the important work of the Leadership Coalition. The Conference reflected what is gleaned from current research on learning, from studies of institutional change, and from the work of Conference participants from institutions of various types and sizes.
Leadership Coalition: Presidents' Symposium
The National Leadership Coalition held a Presidents' Symposium at the Georgetown Conference Center in Washington, DC, November 10-11, 2008. The Symposium featured presentations on the latest research on learning and institutional change, and new educational models that have been adopted by institutions of various types.

The third annual student conference, Student Voice and Higher Education: Communicating and Engaging on Campus as a 'Millennial' Student to Enrich Educational Outcomes, held October 3-4, 2008 in Washington, DC.
