Seminar Grant: Engaged Learning across Disciplines at a Polytechnic Institution

"This workshop introduced the participants to the process of scholarship of teaching and learning (SoTL). We discussed the transitions from effective and scholarly teaching to scholarship of teaching. This was an interactive session. Participants discussed their experiences with SoTL and worked on action plans for new projects (or the further development of an existing one). Participants left the session able to discuss the elements of a SoTL project in general as well as the next steps for a specific project related to one of their classes."
