National Panel
The National Panel was comprised of scholars and campus leaders
who have made significant contributions to our current understanding
of cultural and democratic pluralism in American society.
Following two years of dialogue with all sectors of higher
education, the Panel published a series
of reports and policy recommendations on higher education's
role in a diverse democracy and on pedagogical, curricular,
and institutional practices. This project also supported a
series of Community
Seminars to address issues of recognition and inclusion
in all parts of American society.
