AAC&U officers and staff regularly travel throughout the country, and occasionally the world, to speak and consult at AAC&U member schools through seminars, institutes, and workshops as well as in more informal gatherings. AAC&U staff also regularly speak on the value of liberal education at various media and public affairs events. These meetings are an opportunity for the membership to influence the direction of AAC&U's initiatives. We look forward to seeing you the next time we are on your campus.

AAC&U President Carol Geary Schneider will travel to Philadelphia on March 27 to serve on a national advisory group that is developing a framework to engage colleges and universities in establishing partnership secondary schools. The meeting will be held at the University of Pennsylvania’s Graduate School of Education.

AAC&U Vice President for Education and Institutional Renewal Alma Clayton-Pedersen has been invited by the Colleges of Worcester Consortium Faculty Development Committee and the New England Faculty Development Consortium to give a speaking tour in eastern Massachusetts from March 29 to 31. She will facilitate faculty workshops on the theme of “Achieving Greater Expectations by Making Excellence Inclusive” at the Massachusetts Bay Community College, the Northern Essex Community College, and the Colleges of Worcester Consortium.
