Partnership for a Sustainable Future

AAC&U and the Association of University Leaders for a Sustainable Future (ULSF) are working together to encourage new ideas, campus-based innovations, research, and collaborations that advance student and campus commitments to global learning and sustainable development.

Debra Rowe is President of the U.S. Partnership for the United Nations Decade of Education for Sustainable Development and Senior Fellow at the Association of University Leaders for a Sustainable Future, where she helps higher education institutions integrate "sustainability literacy" into curricula throughout the disciplines, student life, operations, and community partnerships. Rowe has been Professor of Renewable Energy Technologies and Behavioral Sciences for over 25 years at Oakland Community College.

University Leaders for a Sustainable Future (ULSF)
ULSF is a leading international non-profit organization working to strengthen the capacity of colleges and universities to make sustainability and environmental literacy a major focus of teaching, research, service, and operations. 

U.S. Partnership for the Decade of Education for Sustainable Development
The US Partnership consists of individuals, organizations and institutions in the United States dedicated to education for sustainable development (ESD). It acts as a convener, catalyst, and communicator working across all sectors of American society.

Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education (AASHE)
AASHE is a membership-based association of colleges and universities working to advance sustainability in higher education in the US and Canada. We work in partnership with businesses, NGO's and government agencies that support our mission.
